New Patients

We welcome our new patients with an introduction letter that explains what you should expect on your first visit. When you arrive, Dr. Thomas will personally meet with you and discuss your concerns, current issues, and/or goals in our inviting consultation room. Your comprehensive oral exam will take place in a treatment room equipped with the latest technology, including DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection. We will chart and inspect every tooth in your smile, assess your gum tissue, and make impressions for models, if necessary. We may also take digital X-rays, which expose you to about 80% less radiation than traditional X-rays.

Dr. Thomas will study your information and then present options for treatment. As your oral healthcare consultant, he will make sure that you understand your condition and his recommended treatment plan. Please feel free to ask questions and voice your concerns. We want to do everything within our power to make you an active member of your dental care, and the more you know, the wiser your decisions will be.
